The Details
what’s not working:
There are no systems in place to have art supplies or projects grouped together and organized. The kids aren’t able to use this great space to it’s fullest potential. With school starting in a couple of weeks, our client wanted to create a room that they can go do their homework after school, and art projects in their downtime.
project goals:
Create individual workstations for each of the 3 children
Organize the art supplies so they are easily accessible but also easy to put away
Toss all the clutter, trash, and unwanted items
Display the 3D art with the framed art
the highlights:
Individual shelves for 3D art to compliment the framed art wall
Organized and stocked ART CART so the kids can easily find what they need, and move it around the room wherever they are working
Organized drawers for each of the kids, so they can keep all their little things in one place
Labeled bins for each child to put their special papers and art in under each desk
New bulletin boards above each desk so they can personalize their space
