WHAT’S NOT WORKING:

Our client moved into a beautiful new home, so we were able to create custom solutions based on their exact needs. This meant transforming this guest room into our client’s dream closet, complete with a separate shoe storage, custom lighting and vanity area. These sloped ceilings meant we had to get creative with the shelving and hanging sections.

PROJECT GOALS:

Create a dedicated closet room designed for the client’s exact wardrobe needs
Incorporate The Container Store Elfa system for customizable, long-lasting function
Maximize tricky sloped ceilings and nooks with smart storage design
Provide clear organization for hanging clothes, folded items, shoes, and accessories
Add a vanity area for getting ready
Ensure the space feels polished, intentional, and easy to maintain

THE HIGHLIGHTS:

Oversaw every stage of the move: packing, unpacking, organizing, and new-home setup
Designed and installed a custom Elfa closet system from The Container Store
Added multiple rows of shelving for folded items, organized by type and color
Installed double-hanging rods to accommodate the client’s wardrobe
Transformed the small closet nook into a shoe gallery, with space for sneakers and dress shoes
Integrated storage bins across the top shelves for seasonal or less-used items
Styled the space with a clear acrylic vanity, backlit mirror, and seating for a boutique-like feel
